Can you tell us something about Integra Aerial Services?
‘Integra Aerial Services (INAS) is a leading Danish UAV operator established in 2014. INAS is a spin-off of from the Integra Holding Group, which has provided worldwide services to the civil and defence aviation sector since 1988. We serve the public as well as the private sector, when they have sudden or permanent needs for UAV operations, but lack the resources or expertise to operate UAVs. INAS offers UAV solutions that are tailor-made to the customers’ specific needs and is primarily operating medium to large UAVs.’
What are your biggest technological challenges at the moment?
‘INAS’ strategy focuses on offering services that is based on medium and large UAV operations – a specific segment where competition is quite low, but where constraints and obligations are maximised compared to small scale operations. The majority of our future projects will take place in Greenland, a challenging environment for the systems and the crew with many operational, technical and regulatory challenges to be solved by INAS to ensure daily operations in best conditions.’
What do you hope people will learn from your presentation at TUS Nordics?
‘People should attend our presentation to learn more about INAS’ UAV activities in Greenland. We are currently preparing future campaigns in Greenland, in particular, to support from April 2018 the scientific community at Villum Research Station, North Greenland, with a fleet of several medium size drones.’
What presentation do you hope to give in 5 years?
‘As INAS intends to be one of the leading drone service provider in Europe, our hope would be to present a successful company operating routinely medium and large drone operations in five years.’
